NAD+ Infusion
What is NAD?
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is one of the most important molecules in the body and is required for over 500 enzymatic reactions responsible for energy metabolism and cellular function. NAD is essential for our Mitochondria, which are often referred to as the “powerhouse of the cell."
They are responsible for taking sugar (glucose) from foods we have eaten and producing the body’s main source of energy, adenosine triphosphate (ATP). NAD levels steadily decline with age resulting in metabolism changes and disease susceptibility.

What to expect from NAD+ Infusion treatment
NAD infusions can take 2-6 hours depending on the dose being infused. Although this is an extended period of time, we strive to make our patients as comfortable as possible during their infusions. We provide a comfortable reclining chair, internet access, Netflix, a large book selection, as well as snacks and herbal teas!
How to prepare for your NAD+ infusion appointment
A person can increase NAD production through lifestyle changes such as increasing consumption of whole plant based foods, exercise, intermittent fasting, ensuring consistent healthy sleep habits and mealtimes.
It is not uncommon to have patients who implement the above lifestyle changes, yet still do not reach optimal health. Oral supplementation of NAD is available although absorption is questionable. To ensure the full benefits of this therapy, it would be reasonable to consider an NAD infusion.
